The male staff of Dodd & Co have continued the firm’s involvement with charitable causes by disregarding their “vanity” during the month of November, and are doing their best to sport a moustache as part of the now global event known as “Movember”.
The charitable event, which was borne in Australia in 2003, has now turned into a global charity event in aid of prostate and testicular cancer. Starting with a clean shaven face on 1 November, they are now nearly two weeks into their efforts of growing their favoured fashion tache. With names such as “trucker”, “the box car” and the “undercover brother”, it has made for some interesting appearances and some humour in the office – at their expense!.

Dodd & Co supported the 2011 Jennings River Ride organised recently by Cumbria Community Foundation. The Dodd & Co drim team of Dave Harper, Rob Hitch, Ian Brown and Mike Kirsopp successfully completed the middle distance course on a very enjoyable day, even the slug up Whinlatter.
Staff sponsored the cyclists and bought raffle tickets raising £389 for Cumbria Community Foundation.

The weather was glorious, the show field was packed and our marquee was full to the seams with guests enjoying the food and drink throughout the day. We now look forward to next year!
