After graduating from Nottingham University with a degree in Environmental Science Ann-Marie studied to be a Chartered Accountant with a firm in Nottingham, qualifying in 2003. She joined Dodd & Co in 2004 and now specialises in advising medical practices. She also manages the accounts department at the Penrith office.
Ann-Marie works with GPs practices in England, Wales and Scotland, assisting practice managers and GPs to prepare year end financial statements. She also advises on practice bookkeeping and software options, assists with the completion of VAT returns and prepares superannuation certificates. Ann-Marie liaises with PCTs and also presents courses when changes arise in the GP contract or pensions.
Ann-Marie looks after a growing accounts department within the Penrith office (22 at the last count), managing work flow, staff training and liaising with other departments.
