Brett is one of our tax technical managers who predominately manages our client’s corporate tax affairs, and the personal tax affairs of their associated directors.
Brett worked at Andersen and Ernst & Young in Australia where he advised on the corporate tax issues of large companies and Plcs, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2003. Brett immigrated to the UK and joined Dodd & Co in July 2003 and since has become a Chartered Tax Adviser.
Brett’s responsibilities include tax planning for our family companies and their associated directors, which includes advising on the efficient extraction of profits from both trading companies and companies being wound up on cessation. Brett also provides advice to our Construction clients on the Construction Industry Scheme, and advises our client’s in regards to their benefit in kind issues.
Brett also has recently seen a rise in client’s interest in reliefs available through the Enterprise Investment Scheme.
