Claire is qualified both as a chartered accountant and a chartered tax adviser with expertise in both personal and corporation tax. She joined Dodd & Co in November 2006 and in 2008 she became a member of the Institute of Indirect Taxation, after being awarded the CCH Prize for the best performance in the Paper III examination.
Claire is responsible for professional partnerships, particularly the medical and dental professions and is able to advise on alternative structures for these types of businesses and in particular the taxation and VAT issues surrounding mergers and joint ventures. Claire also presents courses aimed at newly qualified doctors.
