Claire Joined Dodd & Co in 1997 after finishing her degree in Business Studies at Liverpool John Moores University. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2000 and now specialises in small business. She also manages the accounts department at the Carlisle office.
Claire
works with clients who are starting up in business and also provides training courses on the subject. She gives assistance with all aspects of starting up including advice regarding the best business structure, efficient book keeping systems, help to obtain maximum tax relief and help them to grow their business and expand. She also works with existing businesses to help them ensure that they are going in the right direction.
Claire looks after a growing accounts department within the Carlisle office (28 at the last count), managing work flow, ensuring staff have the right training and liaising with other departments to ensure that we all work together to provide the best quality service to our clients.
