Helen joined Dodd & Co in 2002 after gaining a degree in Maths and Chemistry at Durham University. She went on to qualify as a chartered accountant in 2005.
Helen was brought up on a dairy farm on the outskirts of Carlisle and her interest in this area led to her working as a member of the Dodd & Co farming team.
In addition to looking after a number of farming clients, Helen is responsible for Dodd & Co’s farming limited companies which have been set up since 2006 to take advantage of the tax savings following the introduction of the Single Farm Payment Entitlement.
Helen is also responsible for compiling and editing the quarterly farming newsletter which goes out to approximately 900 of Dodd & Co’s clients and contacts.
