Lucy joined Dodd & Co in 2000 after graduating from The University of Central Lancashire with a degree in 'Financial Services'. She qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2004 and became the Carlisle Tax Department Manager in January 2006.
Lucy deals with a wide range of personal tax clients with her specialisms being farmers, professional partnerships and high net worth individuals. Lucy is particularly interested in tax planning with the aim being to minimise both personal and capital tax liabilities. She is also experienced at dealing with Tax Credit issues and H M Revenue & Customs enquiries.
Her responsibilities as department manager include looking after training to ensure that staff are up-to-date with changes in tax law, managing workflow and liaising with other department managers to ensure that the highest quality of service is provided to our clients.
