Martin joined Dodd & Co as a graduate trainee in 1999 and qualified as a chartered accountant in 2002. He was brought up on a hill farm in the Yorkshire Dales and looks after a number of farmers in Cumbria, Durham, Lancashire and North Yorkshire. Martin writes our annual livestock farmers’ profits report.
He also specialises in dealing with vets and acts for veterinary practices stretching from Dumfries down to Wakefield. He has had several articles published in the veterinary press and has advised on the incorporation of a number of veterinary practices. He is a member of the Veterinary Practice Management Association and collates our vets’ profits survey.
Martin also looks after general businesses, particularly limited companies, and prepares business plans and cash flow forecasts.
