Rachel Joined Dodd & Co in 2000 after graduating from Newcastle University with a law degree. She qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2004 and now specialises in income tax and capital taxes issues.
Working within the personal tax department, Rachel acts for many farming clients. This is an area of particular interest as she comes from a farming family in Keswick. She also has experience in acting for professional firms such as doctors, dentists and vets. Her areas of expertise range from tax planning to minimise annual tax liabilities, advising on tax credits and planning for Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax. She has also experience in dealing with Revenue enquiries.
