2016 Christmas Charities

We are delighted to announce that the Christmas charities we are supporting this year are Hospice at Home and Bliss.

Dodds have made a Christmas charitable donation for many years now in lieu of sending corporate Christmas cards and all staff are asked to put forward their suggested charities each year that they would like to support.

charity-squareHospice at Home provides high quality care and support for adults who have palliative and end of life care needs, and also for their families and carers. Hospice at Home supports and cares for patients and carers, husbands and wives, mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters, partners and friends and we are delighted to be able to support such a worthy cause.

Bliss is a charity which supports parents of babies born premature or sick to ensure their babies’ voices are at the heart of decision making. It also supports the neonatal professionals involved in their care, together with research that can improve outcomes for the 90,000 babies born premature or sick in the UK each year. Another charity we are delighted to be supporting.

These charities will be named on our letterhead throughout December, and the donations will be presented in the New Year, which will also include any monies raised throughout the Christmas period, including our Christmas jumper day and our Doddie Christmas Bake Off.

For further information on each of the charities please see the links below.
