Get ‘Cyber Streetwise’ And Learn How To Stay Safe Online

Following on from our news post a few weeks ago warning you to be aware of a spate of scam emails that are doing the rounds, we thought we would share with you a helpful site that has been produced by the government.

The ‘Cyber Streetwise’ campaign includes an easy-to-use website packed full of hints, tips and online videos to help keep you as safe as possible online. If you have any queries about your online presence and activities please visit www.cyberstreetwise.com as your first port of call to ensure you are following the correct procedures and have best practice policies in place.

The site aims to change the way people view online safety and provide the public and businesses with the skills and knowledge needed to take control of your cyber security.

Some of it may seem like common sense but there will be something to learn for everyone and it is always worth reviewing your practices every now and then.
