Dodd & Co are proud supporters of the Petteril Bank Youth Project and have recently sponsored the organisation by providing them with a new football kit.
Petteril Bank Youth Project works with young people in the age range of 8-19. They have three drop in sessions during the week, where young people are able to use the facilities and “hang out” as well as offering workshops, trips and other activities. The emphasis of the project is to offer young people the opportunity to take part in something meaningful and positive.
In September Petteril Bank will be running a non-contact boxing club ran by professional boxers that will be open to the whole community – including parents! Anyone interested can email Lucy on lucygaizely@tiscali.co.uk.
Bevan said “we are delighted to be associated with such a worthwhile local project, in recent press the youth of the country are getting a really hard time and it’s projects like this that keep them off the street, out of trouble and learning new skills”.
