Dodd & Co are proud to announce the promotion to manager of four of their senior team.
Brett Bennett and Claire Hebdige have been appointed Technical Tax Managers.
Brett originates from Brisbane, Australia and has settled in West Cumbria after moving to the UK in 2003. Brett qualified as a chartered accountant in Australia and since his move to the UK, has qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser. Brett predominately specialises in corporate tax and deals with the personal taxation affairs of company directors.
Claire lives outside Kirkpatrick Fleming and joined Dodd & Co in December 2006. She provides a broad range of tax planning and advisory service to businesses and individuals. Claire is a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Tax Adviser and a Member of the Institute of Indirect Taxation.
Helen Workman and Heidi Fowler have both been appointed Client Managers which means they will have full responsibility for their own client base which will include going out and bringing in new business to the firm.
Heidi manages the dental accounting team and looks after the financial affairs of the firms expanding client base of dentists. Heidi, a Chartered Accountant, lives in Penrith and has been with Dodd & Co since she left school in 1999.
Helen works within the farming team as well as having clients of her own, she is responsible for the farming limited companies which were set up to take advantage of the tax savings following the introduction of the Single Farm Payment Entitlement. Coming from a farming background Helen is all too aware of the challenges that meet farmers in their financial world. She joined Dodd & Co in 2002 after graduating from Durham University with a degree in Natural Sciences. Helen is also a qualified Chartered Accountant.
Dodd & Co employ over 100 members of staff working out of three offices in Carlisle, Penrith and Lancaster.
