A team of seven from the Penrith office of Dodd & Co abseiled down the Civic Centre, Carlisle in aid of the BEEP fund on Sunday 4th October. The team organised themselves to stand out each dressing as a colour from the rainbow.
Debs Hirst from Dodd & Co commented “The whole office participates in charity fundraising throughout the year and we have been involved with Race For Life, Jeans for Genes, the Moonlight Walk and many others. A few of us wanted a bigger challenge this year so we signed up to do the Civic Centre Abseil. Everyone was amazing as there was some genuinely frightened people who overcame their fear of heights to take part”.
“We would like to thank everyone that came along to support us on the day and also for all the donations already received”.
If anyone would like to donate to the abseiling group total they can call into the Penrith office of Dodd & Co and leave their contribution at reception.
