Faye Armstrong, of Dodd & Co Chartered Accountants, is celebrating after being awarded the Institute of Chartered Accountants’ in England and Wales, Diploma in Charity Accounting. The Diploma is awarded to individuals who can demonstrate that they have the highest level of knowledge, expertise and experience in charity accounting and finance.
In attaining this Diploma Faye, who qualified as a chartered accountant with Dodd & Co, now belongs to an exclusive body of around only 500 people in the UK. Faye said “The great thing about the qualification is that it tests practical knowledge, rather than just theory. I used the experience I have gained from working with my own charity clients to illustrate that I have the skills required for the accreditation”.
Martin Ward, partner at Dodd & Co congratulated Faye and added “Like many of our clients, charities are a specialist area and, by their nature, need advisors who have specialist knowledge about the issues they face. The Diploma is recognition that Faye and the Dodd & Co charities team are continuing in the Dodd & Co ethic of ensuring they have the best knowledge of their customers specialism and can deliver the highest level of support that our clients deserve”. |
