Currently living in Abbeytown, Carrie has large family connections and strong links locally as a born and bred Cumbrian.

Carrie is a Chartered Tax Advisor, is a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) and also the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and currently holds the position of Secretary of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (Cumbria and South West Scotland branch).

Prior to moving back to Dodd & Co, Carrie managed her own varied portfolio of clients including many local businesses and high net worth individuals, working with them to structure their affairs efficiently and mitigate their tax liabilities.

‘I am looking forward to growing a new client portfolio, working with Dodd & Co’s existing clients and securing new work also’, explains Carrie.

Dodd & Co tax partner Dean Johnston commented ‘We are delighted to welcome Carrie back to Dodd & Co.  With the UK tax system becoming ever more complex, we have seen an increased demand for tax planning advice from both businesses and individuals. Carrie’s detailed tax knowledge and client focussed approach will ensure that we continue to meet this growing need.’
