Martin grew up in Carlisle and joined Dodd & Co after completing his A-levels in 2006, moving on to qualify as a Chartered Accountant. Martin manages a portfolio of clients including charities, not for profit entities and family-owned businesses.
Part of his portfolio also includes clients who operate under more specialised standards such as academies, solicitors, pension schemes, PCC’s and those operating under Diocesan measures.
Martin also takes a key leadership position within the firm’s audit practice. He is responsible for the ongoing development of Dodd & Co’s audit strategy, focusing on audit quality, technical development, implementation of emerging technologies and the continued delivery of high-quality assurance services to our clients.
Martin is a football and golf enthusiast and also keeps up to date with watching Formula 1 race days and results.
