LOCATION: CARLISLE AND/OR PENRITH
Dodd & Co a progressive UK firm of accountants and business advisers, is seeking an enthusiastic individual with a keen interest in IT to assist in providing IT and systems support to our a team of over 200, working from our offices in Carlisle and Penrith.
You will be involved in a variety of duties including:

Providing first line helpdesk support to staff; assisting with a multitude of basic hardware, software, and user issues over the phone, via email or in person.

Directing unresolved issues to the next level of support where appropriate.

Carrying out general, routine maintenance of peripheral equipment such as printers and meeting room equipment.

Monitoring the stock level of IT equipment and consumables and ordering more when required.

Maintaining an IT asset register.

Managing the booking out of portable IT equipment.
The successful candidate will:
-
Demonstrate a good working knowledge of computer systems and mobile devices.

Have excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
-
Possess strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks according to the needs of the business.

Be self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative.

Have an eagerness to learn new systems and

Have a passion for problem solving and customer service.
Experience of working in a helpdesk or similar customer support role is not essential. Working closely with our IT & Systems team, you will be provided with full training and support.
Based in Carlisle and/or Penrith there will be a regular need to travel between offices.
