An average day in the tourism industry? What on earth is that!?  Each day, week, month, season and year brings new challenges.

Each year we analyse the financial results of our clients for benchmarking purposes.  This year we have been slightly tongue in cheek (we know there is no such thing as an average day in the industry) and have documented the average “financial” day in the life of a hotelier (for whatever size hotel or guesthouse you run).

Since starting to use QuickBooks only a few months ago we are noticing a big difference in the running of our business. Paying suppliers is much quicker and it is very clear exactly what is outstanding at any moment in time.
