Auto Enrolment Changes 2018

The minimum contributions are going up!

The minimum contributions that you and your staff pay into your automatic enrolment workplace pension scheme are increasing from 6 April 2018.

It’s the law.

The Table below shows what the minimum contributions are (if you are using employee qualifying earnings) and the dates they will rise.

However, please note you may have agreed to base the minimum contributions on different elements of staff pay or you may already be paying more than the minimum increase required.

If we process the payroll on your behalf, then don’t worry .  We will ensure the correct increases are applied from the new tax year.

If you operate your own payroll, please ensure you know how your contributions are set up with your pension scheme provider and check how your payroll software will deal with the contribution increases.

If you want to speak to someone regarding the changes in minimum contributions, please contact our Payroll department and let us help.
