Dodd & Co Christmas Charity 2018

We are delighted to announce that the Christmas charities we are supporting this year are The Cumberland Infirmary Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) equipment fund & Carlisle Youth Zone.

Dodds have made Christmas charitable donations for many years now in lieu of sending corporate Christmas cards and all staff are asked to put forward their suggested charities each year that they would like to support.

The Cumberland Infirmary Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) cares for babies born early, babies with breathing difficulties or feeding problems and babies with infection or abnormalities. Whatever the problem, parents, families and friends can be assured that the staff will have the experience to deal with it and fully explain what is happening.

Carlisle Youth Zone provides young people with a safe and inspiring place to go which raises aspirations, encourages positive behaviour and develops healthy lifestyles. Their youth work team supports young people of all backgrounds, abilities and ages, encouraging personal responsibility, tolerance and ambition.

These charities will be named on our letterhead throughout December. A donation and any extra funds raised by #TeamDoddies throughout the Christmas period (including those from the regular Doddie Christmas Bake Off, a santa sandwich sale and a big breakfast) will be presented to the SCBU in January.

Carlisle Youth Zone will receive their donation before the festive period as we are providing goodies for a Christmas party day to be held for the kids on Saturday 22nd December.
