New Beginnings with Dodd & Co Training School!

Dodd & Co are delighted to welcome 8 brand new cohorts to their growing team.

Dodd & Co has a long history of ‘growing their own’ and the latest recruits will be no different. The usual training procedures see new members of the Dodd & Co team spending their first four weeks in an internal training school, held in the office with an in-house team of specialist trainers, before splitting off to begin their role within the firm.

The new intake increases Dodd & Co’s workforce to a strong team of over 200 across both the Carlisle and Penrith offices. The trainees join the firm from various different backgrounds including recent graduates, some with experience within other professional firms and others looking for a complete career change.

Kyle Maitland, Natasha Oates, Rachael Welton, Sophie Foots and Victoria Underwood have joined the team in the Carlisle office, whilst Danny Rinder, Megan Giles and Shawn McCallum are based in the Penrith office.

The training plan will combine a mix of college attendance to study towards their AAT qualification, alongside continued support from mentors within the office, to develop their knowledge and gain further on the job experience within the field of accountancy. The trainees will then go on to receive further in-house training in March, opening the door to even more opportunities to build their roles within different areas of the firm.
