Taxing Times – November 2019

Hello all and welcome to November’s Taxing Times.  The year marches on, and much as I hesitate to mention it, Christmas is fast approaching!  It is often an extremely busy time of year for many clients so here’s hoping the next few weeks are busy, productive and successful for you all. Taxing Times will be taking a break in December (and will return in January) so we hope you have a very happy festive period and New Year!

Interesting tax fact of the month:

A little late for a Halloween tax fact but… In the USA, states such as Iowa, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey exempt pumpkins from a sales tax but only if they will be eaten and not carved into lanterns!
