Rescue, Recovery & Insolvency

When financial problems start to turn serious, it is often difficult to know what to do for the best. After all, what can you do about bad payers? What if cashflow problems are crippling your growth? What would voluntary liquidation entail?

All businesses have their ups and downs, but many common financial problems can be resolved if the right action is taken in good time. If money problems do get out of hand, it is essential to get specialist help as soon as possible.

You may find it reassuring to know that you are only a phone call away from a local firm who can provide you with expert advice and information on how to deal with your financial problems, no matter how big they may be. We understand that it can be very difficult to see your business, which you may have built up from nothing or taken over from generations of family, start to have problems but we are here to help provide you with expert advice and information to try and tackle these issues and turn it around.

We believe that seeking the appropriate early advice will help to avoid further difficulties caused by allowing problems to go unchecked. That’s why we ensure that our clients have access to immediate advice and appointments and a free initial consultation.

Call us for a free confidential discussion. The sooner you get some no-nonsense advice the better. For further help, contact Jeanette Brown, Jackie Kirsopp or Carol Tindal.

I have known Alison Johnston for a number of years and have found her advice to be totally ‘spot on’, as is that of the rest of the ‘Dodds Team’. She is so much more than an ‘accountant’ – giving valuable advice on business planning, critiquing ideas and plans and offering the benefit of her experience. She has recently introduced us to ‘Kashflow’ – a tool which allows us to manage our own finances, from issuing invoices to calculating our VAT – invaluable! We are now working with her colleague Rob Bainbridge who has just completed our first set of accounts in our new business and who has been very patient with us and our many questions!! We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with Dodd Accountants going forward.
