MTD for VAT

You may have seen in the press recently criticism from the House of Lords Economic Affairs Committee, of HMRC’s lack of consideration towards smaller businesses.  The Committee has urged HMRC to delay MTD for VAT by at least a year to give businesses more time to be fully prepared.

However, whilst the Committee have made a very convincing argument which is being supported by ICAEW and CIOT, HMRC have yet to respond and there are certainly no guarantees that they will cave to mounting pressure.  As a result, businesses affected on 1 April 2019 MUST carry on regardless and prepare for MTD for VAT.

What's the best thing about Dodd & Co? I like the friendliness of all the staff, the knowledge and service of our accountant, the flexibility of being able to come to the office or home visits.
